This trek leads you to a maximum altitude of 4950 meters, taking you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the Indian Himalayas.

Day 01: Manali to Kaza by Drive (9-10hrs.)

Early morning, we depart for Kaza via Rohtang (3978mtr.), offering breathtaking views of the green valley on winding roads. En route, you'll encounter various trees and colorful flowers, pausing briefly at Marhi. After Rohtang pass, we descend to Gramphoo, where the road leads to Spiti valley along the Chandra river, presenting captivating views of snaking water and towering mountains. We cross Kunzum Pass (4501mtr.) and continue to Kaza, enjoying magnificent views of Spiti villages. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 02: Kaza Local Sightseeing and Drive to Tabo

Explore Kaza with visits to Ki Monastery, Kibber Monastery, Dhankhar Monastery, and Dhankhar Lake before driving to Tabo. Tabo village, perched at an elevation of 3100m, lies on the banks of the Spiti River. Here, you'll visit Tabo Monastery, the oldest and most archaeologically significant monastery in Spiti, housing its most sacred shrine. Overnight stay in a hotel at Tabo.

Day 03: Kaza - Sichling - Mikkim - Mud

After breakfast, drive (32 km) to Mikkim (3087 mt.) via Gulling and visit Kungri Monastery. Later, drive to Mud village (3900 mt.) and set up camp for the night.

Day 04: Mud - Pharka - Phaldar Camp - Bhaba Base

After breakfast, start the trek by crossing the Pin River footbridge, trekking along the right bank of the Pin River. Cross Shian village en route and continue until you reach a beautiful camping area. Trek further until the Pin River takes a left turn. Set up camp at a small green camping place (4100 mt.) The valley to the right leads to Pin-Parvati Pass, and to the left is the path to Bhaba Pass. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 05: Bhaba Base - Bhaba Pass - Fushtiring

Early morning, start the trek towards Bhaba Pass. The trek begins with a gentle climb through moraines and snow/ice patches. As you get closer to the pass, the climb becomes steeper, sometimes over loose screes. You'll trek upwards towards the left to reach the pass (4950 mt.). Descend steeply on the other side of the pass until the valley opens up. Set up camp (4100 mt.) on the banks of the Wanger River, where the valley is greener than the Spiti side. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 06: Fushtiaring - Mulling

After breakfast, begin the descent trek (4-5 hours) to Mulling, following the left bank of the Wanger River. The route passes through dense forests with pine, cedar, and birch trees. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 07: Mulling - Kafnu - Kalpa

In the morning, trek through the forested area, following the left bank of the Wanger River. The heavily forested route boasts pine, cedar, and birch trees. Reach Kafnu, the last road head in the valley, and drive (4 hours) to Kalpa (2900 mt.) where you'll set up camp for the night.

Day 08: Kalpa - Sarahan

After breakfast, drive (85 km) to Sarahan. Check into a hotel and visit the famous Bhimkali Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali, and the bird breeding center in Sarahan. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 09: Sarahan - Shimla

In the morning, drive (185 km) to Shimla via Narkanda, renowned for its 360º view of the Indian Himalayas. Arrive in Shimla and check into a hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.
